Voices in the Data Cloud. Experience design challenges "Defined".
How might we
make an abstract topic tangible and intuitive?
How might we
leverage emerging technology to create an accessible data space?
How might we
invite to immerse yourself into the data for synthesis rather than analysis?
How might we
impress scale and share individual stories at once?
How might we
invite visitors to form a personal opinion rather than be prescriptive?
Explore Tensions
While most American can be described as tech-positive they vary widely on how much they trust entities that ask them for data. That and what their perspective is on the fairness of the data-to-service value exchange. However, the sentiment that appeared to be most surprising is the subset of respondents, who simply doesn’t engage or care.
This let the team to believe that sharing the data in all its complexity to be explored across tensions can have more impact than joining a polarizing debate around data privacy. Creating a forum rather than giving opinion.

Experience Design
Leverage state of the art augmented reality to provide access to data at scale and embedded stories. Inviting immersion rather than analysis to support formulation of opinion through a guided exploration of the data along tensions.
